Phase 1, both the oldest standing lesbian bar in America and the last to remain in the nation’s capital, closed abruptly this month. Meanwhile, venues for gay men are booming. What’s the future of lesbian nightlife in DC?
We’re not sure that there’s a right answer to this question, but we’ve laid out some arguments for and against and now it’s time to dig in.
