Callie and Mariana Adams Foster have always been the heart of this show so it’s fitting that they’d be reunited for Valentine’s Day.

For ten years we’ve watched fan favorite Dr. Teddy Altman on Grey’s Anatomy. Still, there’s so much we don’t know. For starters, she’s BISEXUAL! (Bring tissues, this is one for the Grey’s weeping history books.)

The Bold Type is romanticizing repugnant viewpoints, like hardline immigration and conversion therapy, and treating those issues like they’re things we can just agree-to-disagree on. Also: an inexplicable In The Dark finale.

Everybody on this list except Angela Chase really believes in themselves and I truly do appreciate that in a human being.

While the return of Stef and Lena Adams Foster to our TV screens was always going to be a cause for celebration around here, their presence — and the presence of six (!!) other LGBT characters — on Good Trouble’s two hour holiday special seemed particularly poignant in the wake of Hallmark’s bigotry.

“She raises both hands to the orchestra and she smiles into the audience. She nearly breaks her face in two because she knows, she really knows, that she did it. She’s the star.”

With the winter portion of the fifth season firmly behind us, and only a three-episode special summer “goodbye” in our future, I can say confidently that The Fosters is coming back full circle. They have returned their focus to the family, and most importantly, to the best moms on television.
