NSFW Lesbosexy Sunday Will Keep You Coming, Keep You Going

Welcome to NSFW Sunday!

+ There are some very weird sex laws still in effect in the United States! For instance, in Arizona, you cannot have more than two dildos in the same house.

+ More people are talking about having sex after being diagnosed with cancer, finally.

+ Maybe don’t ask interracial couples racist questions about their relationship.

+ People in love have less cognitive control than others, according to a new study in the journal Motivation and Emotion.

+ Some people can have orgasms in just their brains.

+ If you want to find all the lingerie Beyoncé wears in her new album, the Lingerie Lesbian has you covered.

+ According to a study of a single couple, agreeing with everything someone says is not really a good way to handle anything.

+ At the Toast, Jessica Skolnik writes about when you don’t have a story about losing your virginity because the first time you had sexual contact with anyone it was not consensual, or because traditional virginity-loss stories do not reflect you:

“Sure, there are plenty of people out there who “lost their virginity” in a totally banal way that fits with the standard mainstream narrative, who imbued the whole thing with a lot of meaning because that’s what we’re supposed to do but who found it lacking in the end. That’s why the pop culture stories find resonance: because there are a lot of people who they fit.

But there are also lots of us who don’t fit. And if we are to truly tell the brilliant, true, real stories of those of us at the margins (it’s no accident that those of us who don’t have stories who fit the traditional virginity narrative are statistically more likely to be queer, poor and/or of color), if we are to allow space for those stories, we need to reframe the idea of “virginity,” ditch the whole idea that having a certain kind of sex – and only that certain kind of sex – is a passageway into adulthood. For those of us whose first sexual contact was not consensual, we need a space free of blame and shame where we can talk about how that affected us and may continue to affect us.”

+ Sex educator Betty Dodson gives advice to someone who can only get off with her vibrator and porn and wants to orgasm other ways too:

“Instead of demanding or being totally focused on orgasm, how about enjoying the feelings you are having? Far too many young women today are excessively goal oriented for an orgasm so they miss the good feelings they get along the way. […] I’m sorry I can’t give you some kind of magic to take you where you want to go. However sex is like any other skill, you must learn the basics and then practice, practice, practice WITH AN OPEN MIND. The younger generation has been mislead with instant everything. Any artist spends years studying and then honing her skills by continuing to practice.”

+ The UK’s sweeping porn filter is, unsurprisingly, not working out too well:

“Cameron has also strong-armed the country’s major Internet service providers into creating filters requiring any adult who wants to see pornography to opt in. TalkTalk, Sky and BT all have filters up and running, while Virgin plans to launch its own next year.

BBC’s Newsnight took the filters for a spin, however, and found they’re blocking more than pornography. TalkTalk blocked sites including BishUK.com, an award-winning sex ed site, as well as the Edinburgh Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre. On top of that, it failed to block 7 percent of the 68 sites Newsnight tried. Sky’s filter blocked 99 percent of pornographic results — but also six porn-addiction sites.

BT blocked Sexual Health Scotland and two sites dedicated to domestic abuse support. What keywords are they even using here?”

    OMG the penguins are adorable.

“The head of the Safari Avian Department, Tamuz Setti, assured naysayers that the two young lesbian penguins did not choose one another for lack of options, as their were a number of male suitors at the Safari park, but rather that they clearly chose to mate with one another. ”

    AWWW!!!

Odd that the sale of sex toys are illegal in Nevada. I wonder how strictly they enforce that law in Oregon, because there would be a lot of arrests going on at queer bars weekly and after every T&S show in the state.

“Instead of demanding or being totally focused on orgasm, how about enjoying the feelings you are having?”

Can I just say how much I haaaaaaate this particular piece of “advice.” I have a lot of problems having orgasms and pretty much can’t do it without a vibrator anymore. There is nothing enjoyable about the feelings of things being almost good. It’s incredibly frustrating and makes me sad. And also, it eventually becomes really uncomfortable, physically.

How about when someone ask for advice about orgasm, people stop telling us that we want the wrong things and actually answer the damn question, because no, actually, it’s perfectly okay to want orgasms. If they have no practical advice, then they should just say “I’m sorry you have to deal with that” and move the hell on.

I until a few months ago called myself a virgin. I’m not I’ve had sex just with women but because I was defining my virginity as being penetrated it literally did not click in my head that I’m not a virgin just a ‘technical virgin’ I suppose.

Ah, the virginity thing. I never really know how to answer that. I was raped before I ever had sex, but beyond that, I’ve never had penetrative sex and hopefully never will. It weirds straight people out, and some homos, but whatever. I’d rather be comfortable and not sleep with somebody and make somebody think outside the box in terms of sex than deal with uncomfortableness and physical pain just to get somebody else off and make them feel, idk, normal? Sex isn’t just penis/vagina and I think people forget that. And anyway, studies show that other ways of having sex, beyond PIV, are actually more enjoyable for women on average, but, you know, heteronormativity and misogyny keeps that from the mainstream. I’ve learned to like being the odd one out, I guess. tl;dr : no penis save rape, still not a virgin

Ah virginity. I don’t consider myself a virgin anymore but I don’t have a single act that I consider “lost” me my virginity. Mostly that’s because I’m queer female who fucks people of all genders and I can do the same thing on a female as a male but only one of those is considered sex? idk it really doesn’t make much sense.

ALSO THE LINKS ARE LINKS TO THE ACTUAL PHOTO, NOT JUST THE SITE GENERALLY WOW YES THANK YOU FINALLY I CAN JUST REBLOG THE PHOTOS WITHOUT HAVING TO SEARCH THROUGH SOMEONE’S WHOLE TUMBLR YAY!!!!
