The Comment Awards Are Reading For Batwoman

Hello! I have a very serious announcement: I am throwing my hat in the ring for the role of Batwoman. I hope I get it!

This week, Ren wants you to play observation walk bingo.

Parenting during the pandemic? KaeLyn’s got tips for that.

Ray wrote reported on trans representation in young adult fiction – how things stand now, and how writers can continue to shape and re-shape that space.

Down! With! Hard! Pants!

This was so, so good: Trusting Abundance: A Conversation With Organizer, Sammie Ablaza Wills.

I guess Ruby Rose doesn’t want to be Batwoman anymore?? But there are SO many actors who want the job, you love to see it!

Do you think Leisha Hailey wants to borrow some rosemary from Bette and Tina?

And then there were your comments!

On 25 Soft Pants for Loungewearing All Over The House:

The Read the Room Award to Natalie and msanon:

Wearing pants? In this economy?

On Ruby Rose Is Done With Being Batwoman Now:

The Fly Like a Bat, Sting Like a Bee Award to Dee:

The more I think about it, the more I decide she’s the perfect contender

On My Top 10 Television Shows: Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya:

The Sharpest Disappointment Award to Becca:

Amy Adams deserved an Emmy for Sharp Objects and I am still not over it!

On She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’s Final Season Gives The Gays Everything They Want:

The Purr-fect Ending Award to thatottergirl:

MY HEART!!! I’ve always wanted to see Adora and Catra make up (and make out), but I wasn’t sure it would really happen. The turning point for me was definitely when Catra sat (purring!) on Adora’s lap, and they looked so cute and happy together. I kept asking myself if they’d really let us have this, an actual queer romance at the center of the show, and I’m overjoyed that the answer is YES.

On Pop Culture Fix: Stephanie Beatriz Would Like to Be Your New Batwoman:

The Drawn Together Award to msanon:

been wondering why more shows haven’t switched to animation to continue. not surprised that odat had the creativity/bravery to go first (be among the first?).

The Arm Wrestling Award to Chandra:

No shade on Ruby Rose, but I love that the Batwoman vacancy has inspired a contingent of hot queers to show off their muscle flexing skills and I for one am ok if it continues a little longer

And on Happy Hour at Home: Have Some Very Gay Zoom Backgrounds:

The Alice Pieszecki, Contact Tracer Award to Emily:The Chart — the original contact tracing!! using it at my faculty meeting tomorrow. will report back.

  1. to be on Natalie’s comment coattails is an honor i am almost embarrassed to enjoy.

and please can someone (@punkystarshine) tell Wynonna Earp they are perfect for the Drawn Together bandwagon? …please! a pandemic with animated WayHaught would be better than the Purgatory we have now.
