Foolish Child #103: After School Pick Up

Dickens argues with a white parent who believes Dickens should force their child to do maskless kickboxing during a pandemic. • Love this comic so much.I feel so seen as a queer parent who also isn’t down with asserting dominance over my kid and most def also is over explaining my queer bona fides to anyone. esp straight parents I don’t like. Ty for this <3

  1. I loved this. Maybe don’t be an ass, Perfect Mom! But on a serious note, I’ve given up trying to correct/educate/enlighten bigots. It just places the burden on the oppressed and I choose not to engage. Not everyone has the time/energy/inclination to spin their wheels in the mud, when there is life out there to be lived.
