We’ve all been there….
The one time I had a crush on a roommate I told her and I am so glad that I did. My feelings were not reciprocated but it was such a relief to have them out in the open as something that could be recognized and discussed instead of something that I had to hide. It let me do a lot of roommate and friend things that otherwise I would have been like “is this a date???” and be able to answer “no Alice, this is not a date, calm down, you are having fun with your friend.”
This is good! Usually when people have crushes I advise them to just come out and admit it to the person they have a crush on. Either it works out great, or you can get over it quicker (which is also great)
Aww, yay! Andy with a crush is almost as great as Scout with a crush.

I mean… Ari probably loves burritos. She probably was going to her room to eat a burrito in peace without Andy hovering over her.
I am both of these when I have a crush, but very very little Andy so really it’s just me being like “I should do something to let them know I like them!” and then the rest of me going “DON’T DO ANYTHING. LEAVE IT ALONE. LET IT FADE. MOVE TO A DIFFERENT STATE.”
I also have this internal debate every time I have a crush.

the panel with the zinger heart is a direct parallel of this one panel of lois that is my faaaavorite, from early days of DTWOF where lois is dating a recently-divorced lady who swans out of the cafe they’re at and lois does this wistful pining thing. idk what it is about it, just like, wistful pining + queer crush.

I hooked up with a housemate. We were fine, but our other housemate gave us both black eyes because she fancied both of us. Punching people is a bad way to say you like them tho.
