Kaki King Giveaway: Win Two Tickets To Kaki’s Brooklyn Concert

A friend of Autostraddle has kindly donated two tickets to Kaki King’s concert at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn NYC on Saturday, December 12, and so we’re giving them away.

Entering is easy – just email music at autostraddle dot com and tell us how badly you want them. Entries close midnight Wednesday Dec 9. The winner will be selected at random and notified via email on Thursday.

This is the last US show Kaki is playing this year before heading down under to my hood for a tour, so catch her while you can. And if you’re not yet familiar with her music, click here and listen ’cause she’s freakin’ brilliant. And read our interview with Kaki King from June!

  1. i saw her play at the apple store a long time ago (so random) and afterwards i went and talked to her and naturally felt like a complete tool, because i am a tool. and i asked her if she was playing any shows in montreal in the coming months and she said no, then i went home and read about her show in the mirror that was happening in a matter of weeks. THEREFORE i think kaki king thinks i’m a tool. i’m going to go email for those tickets now.

  2. This will be the third time I’ll watch her perform. Yay! First was at Stuyvesant Town Oval (yay for free concerts!), then at Little Field, BK at her guitar art work exhibit. I think she mentioned on her blog that she’ll play new songs for this upcoming show, so I’m really looking forward to that :]
