Hello you made it all the way to the last Monday of 2015! How do you feel? Did you stand out in the rain last night? Me too! But did you also wait for a pack of wild turkeys to cross the road yesterday and then get dive-bombed by some bats? Ok. I mean this isn’t a competition but if it was, I’m just saying. Bats. Turkeys. Tornados. Just saying.

    • Too busy having my standard private giggle on how non-human animals are some how another kingdom or what than us, thinking about bonobos and how some silly people so are focused on reproduction based sexual interaction as if it’s not bonding activity too.

But yeah that was funny too.

  1. From No Offense:

There is an unspoken, horrible idea that contemporary political activity starts and perhaps ends with building a really good politicized identity…So we say who we are by announcing what offends us. We prune our personal stances into intricate dioramas; we call these stances an identity; we call it all action, maybe even progress, where some are concerned.

This is a really good reminder.

  2. I’ve been to one of those smallest towns on the Earth! The Supai tribe are amazing; and the waterfall in the middle of the Grand Canyon as breathtaking. Only being able to get food and supplies by mule/helicopter is not as quaint as people think; mostly all food/clothes comes from Walmart.
