The video for Avicii’s “Addicted To You” features a queered up take on Bonnie and Clyde. This story, like plenty of others AND Bonnie and Clyde themselves, comes to a rather poor end but it’s cute until then. Sort of. Depending on your moral compass.

Affectio is a new webseries by Emma Koenig and David Seger. Emma Koenig is the person behind fuckiminmy20s.tumblr.com which has a tendency to be disturbingly relevant. The episodes are pretty on brand so if you like that (or pondering the human condition), you’ll like this.

Try this Instead is a satirical webseries on how to avoid racism and micro-aggressions in the modern world. The first two episodes touch on the two most popular ‘leave black people alone’ tropes so you can check those out on the show’s YouTube channel if you dig the trailer.

SoulPancake partnered with Darling Magazine for a series called That’s What She Said. The final episode (and the one I’ve seen popping up a lot) is a list of 10 Things Every Female Should Know which is of course a bold title and perhaps lends itself to harsher critique for that very reason. Or maybe it’s because there’s a woman of color speaking words. No real way to tell.

This is Brittani’s Video Party, where I bring some of the “best” videos from all over my internet together so we can clap, cry or deconstruct. Have you ever gotten to a video and it already has 33 million views and you wonder where the heck have you been? Well I’m here to help you so that you see it when it only has 32 million views. Aim low, world. Aim low.

Brittani Nichols is a Los Angeles based comedy person. When she's not tweeting about white people or watching television, she's probably eating pizza. Actually, she's probably doing all three of those things concurrently and when she's not doing THAT, she's sleeping. Brittani also went to Yale and feels weird about mentioning it but wants you to know.

Brittani has written 314 articles for us.
