  1. I love these comics.

That being said – my first “date” with my current girlfriend was totally a non-date date … I asked her for her number the day before, suggested we meet up on the day … Made her wait in the cold for 45 minutes because the trains were messed up, and when we finally met, had no idea what to do.

So, we walked around central London – and I wasn’t sure if what we were doing was a date until she kissed me!

    (Things worked out.)

  2. Story of my life. People are so confusing. Not to mention the trouble of reading signs, then just plain old awkwardness and nerves. Seriously though, it’s like you have no control over your emotions and what the heck you are doing. Continuously asking yourself, why the heck did I just do that? And then giving a sleigh smack on the side of your head.

  3. I have so definitely done the mutually awkward pat-on-the-back. I also started ironically bro-hugging (like when you do the manly slap on the back while hugging) and it soon became a part of my normal hug technique, rendering all my hugs instantly non-sexual
