Brittani’s Video Party: It’s Not You, It’s Divas that Vine Their Yogurt

Greetings. This is Brittani’s Video Party, where I bring some of the “best” videos from all over my internet together so we can clap, cry or deconstruct. Have you ever gotten to a video and it already has 33 million views and you wonder where the heck have you been? Well I’m here to help you so that you see it when it only has 32 million views. Aim low, world. Aim low.

Megan Anram’s commercial parody about Dannon’s Birth Control on the Bottom Yogurt features my favorites Rosa Salazar and Retta. From the title alone I’m sure you can see where the sketch is headed. Now if only lesbians were included in a fake diverse group, I’d be happy. There’s some bonus Weird Al if you consider that a bonus.

There have been a few compilations of the best vines of 2013 going around which in turn has been converting a lot of people into Vine users. With Vine, like Twitter, you get as much as you give so don’t bother unless you’re willing to do some digging to find accounts worth following. Probably you should just watch this video then wait for another one to come around in a few months.

I’m not sure if people like “Total Eclipse of the Heart” ironically or not but when you see Christina Bianco perform the song as several different female vocalists, it won’t matter. She even does Chenoweth.

Short films, amirite? Well It’s Not You, It’s Me held my attention the entire time. I’m tempted to even say I like it. Gillian Jacobs is great as a girlfriend who all of a sudden is being driven crazy by every sound her boyfriend makes. It also stars Fran Kranz and Rob Huebel.

If you have a video you think everyone should see, tweet it to @bishilarious for consideration. And of course feel free to post your favorite videos from the week below.

  1. I was laughing so much at the Vines that my sister came in to watch them too. The app is a new frontier for comedy genius!

  2. the vine compilation gave me more faith in humanity than anything i’ve seen in recent memory

  3. I dunno, I tried watching the Vine compilation and it was all so painfully boring. I only got through like the first couple minutes before everyone’s over-eager attempt at being funny and “making moments” got to me.

    That impressionist, though. Daaaaaaaaaamn.

  4. I normally have the youTube attention span of a goldfish, but gosh darn if I didn’t watch all 11 minutes of that Vine video… and love every second of it.
