Confused on the difference between sea punk and mermaidcore. Mermaid core seems pink-er, with more shells and with some mom on vacation energy?
I was about to say that mermaidcore sounds like something my 7 year old would be very into, but it definitely has some ‘mom on vacation’ energy too.
Mermaidcore is 100% how my mother forced me to dress during our 1999 family vacation to Hawaii.

Positive news from the Netherlands: the first trans person has been elected as a member of parliament last week! Her name is Lisa van Ginneken, D66 party (progressive neo-liberal).
We are also celebraring 20 years since the first gay marriages took place, on april 1st, which is pretty damn awesome. And they’re putting a rainbow flag on the cathedral tower (highest point of my city) to celebrate. (Also on city hall. But I like the tower best!)
