Cameron is an illustrator hailing from Ohio. When she’s not drawing, she’s probably very, very quietly having loud thoughts about: queer things, her eventual shop, what to watch next on Netflix, food, names for her future pets, and tumblr.
Cameron has written 76 articles for us.
#PlaidProm
I am so. bummed. that we will not be sharing the #plaidprom tradition this camp, the plaidiest camp I expect to witness to date.
FALL FALL FALL! I live in NorCal but went to college in upstate NY. This is the time of year that tries to still be summer here, while I get disgustingly nostalgic about leaves (and maple candy and crisp air and farm stands and squirrels and apples and pumpkins even though we have those two at least). I knit. In fall, I get to wear socks and scarves and hats and gloves and killer sweaters that I made! with my hands! It’s the best.
Basically that could be a drawing of me. Cables are great.
IT STARTED TO SMELL LIKE FALL IN NYC YESTERDAY!
I expect full Insta coverage of that pumpkin pie you mentioned before.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Fall is the best. Hot cider, pumpkin chai (which from a place at my university does, amazingly enough, contain pumpkin), and breweries starting to roll out their porters and stouts (currently hunting for a pumpkin porter I heard about recently). I’m not so fashionable, but I’m fine with that.
Leaving this here: Half stout, half pumpkin ale.
Yesssss. I’m all about fall seasonal drinks/libations! ALL ABOUT THEM. My workplace just rolled out an apple cider dark & stormy that I am FEELING.
I’ve been calling autumn in for at least a month, and bought a new raincoat/jacket in June . . . that looks much like my other tan denim jacket. But hey, the pockets are different. #fashionable
I’m looking forward to seeing some parks in NYC with fall foliage, including Fort Tryon Park which has SO MANY huge old trees that remind me of home upstate.
OH my god. Yes. It was 80F a few days ago, but I just bought 3 new flannels. Y’know, for autumn aesthetic/apple picking purposes. IT IS TIME TO COMMUNE WITH NATURE.
“Is that person queer, fall fashionable, midwestern, or any combination thereof?”
I AM ALL OF THESE THINGS! (Or I will be when it’s finally sweater weather…)
Same. Autumn really brings out my midwest pride. Most other times I’m like, “yeah it’s the midwest it’s whatever.” But then autumn happens and everything is “Y’ALL. THE TREES. THE FOOD. THE SMELLS. DID YOU EVEN KNOW HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS GREAT UNKNOWN COULD BE?”
Woooo, come on fall!!! It’s my favourite season! =D
I am SO SICK OF SWEATING. Let me tell you, I work in a place that doesn’t have insulation in one of the hot parts of Southern California so every day I have to work in a 85-90 degree building with no windows so incredible stuffiness is also an issue. I am so SO tired of it.
CAMERON THE COLORS ON THIS ARE GORGEOUS
also, this outfit is super great and would look great at the a-camp dance, just sayin
MEY.
You forgot to mention Pumpkin Spice. Its not fall without pumpkin spice in something.
I’m so ready for fall! I find my balance and energy in the fall and everything feels right. Summer feels like a Stress Rollercoaster™ and in comparison fall is laying on a blanket with a cutie who loves you watching the stars twinkle. I’m ready to get off this awful ride and just CHILL (emotionally and temperature wise).
Yes to all of this. And also snuggling into fleece tops and throws.
Guys I am so excited for fall. Cider and pumpkin spice and not getting heat exhaustion like every other week? Count me the fuck in.
(That being said if we could hold off on winter until it’s solidly December instead of getting the first snow in October, that would be super cool.)
I just bought a bunch of sweaters and I’m ready for cider donuts by a fire! Autumn is my fave.
I’m normally a fall hater due to my allergies and the days getting shorter which messes with my mood – not to mention how much I adore bare skin and feet – but the stalled season change has made me feel confused and stuck in a limbo. Change is good! Change is natural, it’s what we need to progress. Which is why I’m rethinking my fall hate. :) I love school, after all! And weirdo pumpkins.
Sigh…I live in Phoenix, and I really miss Fall. It doesn’t even drop below 90 until the end of October here…
I’m dreaming of that smell that comes in late October/November of a cold rain and soggy leaves. It is earthy and damp and very, very lovely.
#SAME. It was 98 yesterday! WTF, NORCAL? Get your shit together.
