Hello and welcome to this thing we’re doing where we help you figure out what you’re gonna put in your mouth this week. Some of these are recipes we’ve tried, some of these are recipes we’re looking forward to trying, all of them are fucking delicious. Smoothies are amazing! They’re fruity and cold and you can even sneak vegetables into them! They’re easy to make ahead too, so if you’re like me and wake up three hours before you need to be somewhere but don’t get out of bed until ten minutes before you’ll be late, you’re good!
Smoothies are also the perfect breakfast/lunch/snack/any meal now that it’s beginning to get warmer. Honestly, nothing is better than cold fruit giving you a brain freeze on a warm day. It makes you feel alive and invigorated! I also feel like I’m on my way to big things when I make a smoothie because every time I use my Vitamix I feel like a domestic goddess with no student debt, a clean house, with a full-time job, a 401K and an IRA. Some of these smoothies are your traditional fruit-yogurt-ice combinations, but some of them have things like jalepeños, chia seeds, protein powder. Some are even vegan! There’s something for whatever your smoothie-deprived heart desires. It’s time for you to find your best smoothie to help you be your best self. Which one are you gonna try?
