“Words With Girls” Episode 3: Token

Hello again. There was a time bout a month ago when Episode 2 of Words With Girls came out. That was fun. There’s been an overwhelmingly positive response to that business which is nice since I am an overwhelmingly negative person. Now Episode 3, “Token” is here.  Isn’t it crazy how time progresses and things become available for your immediate consumption that weren’t previously?

WORDS WITH GIRLS is a mostly scripted but part-improv comedy webseries that focuses on 20-somethings in Los Angeles. When they’re not busy navigating “the scene” or jumpstarting their careers, these women do what the young, gifted and bored do best: shoot the shit. The episodes will showcase the friendship and witty banter of a few women that happen to like women. Word to the Bechdel Test.

Did you watch that? Did you like it? Did you know that there are a bunch of other things on our YouTube channel that you should see? Maybe you should subscribe. You should probably subscribe. Otherwise, you might miss things like songs featuring Ashley Reed and Haviland Stillwell of Unicorn Plan-It, Autostraddle’s first original web series. I exclusively hangout with musical lesbians now. It truly is a joy.

Until next time my friends. Please share, laugh, and be happy. Also, eat some fruit.

Brittani Nichols is a Los Angeles based comedy person. When she's not tweeting about white people or watching television, she's probably eating pizza. Actually, she's probably doing all three of those things concurrently and when she's not doing THAT, she's sleeping. Brittani also went to Yale and feels weird about mentioning it but wants you to know.

  1. When I read the thumbnail description which said, “Brittani’s not the only black person at a party and she is not happy about it.”

I died because I can relate to that feeling only because if there are more of us the confusion starts and I usually get offended when I am confused with another black person WHO LOOKS NOTHING LIKE ME!

I watched the episode and had a serious giggle fit and people at the coffee shop are looking at me like I’m nutty.

GOOD JOB I CANNOT GO THERE ANYMORE!!! I’ll be back though…
