this resonated a lot with me; I’m grateful that the majority of my friends aren’t in a similar position as me, but hearing about how they HAVE TO attend all these family celebrations is a bit grating when you’re estranged from a good chunk of your family. thank you for so accurately describing the extra emotional stress that comes with the holidays.
