Dickens friend asks if yesterday was a hard day at work due to the police shooting and car chase, but Dickens has already blocked work out from their memory. Their friend follows up by asking if maybe they should draw about their trauma so that they remember it. Dickens says that they want to come home and draw funny, fluffy things about their favorite ship- not trauma.
