Watch YouTube Star Elle Mills Come Out, Feel Your Heart Grow Three Sizes

Today I met YouTube celeb Elle Mills for the first time when her coming out video popped up on the internet, and boi am I glad I did. In four minutes and forty-four seconds she managed to warm up my heart and weave a rainbow of hope around it. Mills is most popular for “If Stranger Things Were a Romantic Comedy” and “If Lizzie McGuire Were a Thriller” among other genre-bending edits, but she’s also amassed an enormous following for her lifestyle vlog called ElleOfTheMills. I guess a lot of people ask her if she’s gay and so she decided to answer that question, but for herself. It’s wonderful.

Welcome to the family, Elle Mills! Thank you for making us cry for good reasons today!

  1. Hi, I’m Rous Rose, and I want to reach through my screen, grab this amazing human bean I’d never heard of until 5 minutes ago, and give them the tightest of hugs for making me feel like my stomach is going to explode with butterflies, rainbows, heart emojis and also basically all the feels.

  2. I’m shaken by how strong, proud, and unapologetically she came out as bisexual.

Not “I’m not straight” not “I like women”- “I’m bisexual”. Bam. Done.

I wish I had folk like her to look up to when I was a bb bi. I’ve been qualifying my way to bisexuality for a decade & still haven’t arrived.

  3. I had never heard of this girl before I saw her video today. It’s genuinely one of the best coming out videos I have ever seen on YT. They are practically a whole genre at this point and she really turned it on it’s head. I’m gonna have to watch more of her videos.
