Playlist: Someone Call A Doctor, These Beats Are Sick!

Here’s a chill electro and indie dubstep playlist that’s jam packed with stellar remixes that even dubstep novices will find irresistible. The unifying theme is: sick beats, wobbly and/or fuzzy bass, and glitchy-ness. There’s some older stuff, some newer stuff, and lots of phenomenal bass drops that are guaranteed to make your head explode with happiness.

  1. Not usually a fan of dubstep (prefer house/trance/progressive) but I have to say a lot of this is pretty good stuff!
Another really good dubstep song is Fighting Fire by Breakage feat. Jess Mills – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQcBYboY8G4
The only thing I don’t like about this song is that the chick in the video is WAY too heavily clothed. If you’re going to show me a go go dancer for 4 minutes, she better be at least half naked.

  2. Some of the best bass heavy, skin crawling, electronic tracks:

The Glitch Mob – Between Two Points (featuring Swan)
    Emiliana Torrini – Fingertips
Motorcycle – As the Rush Comes On (Gabriel and Dresden Remix)
La Roux – In For The Skill (Skream’s Lets Get Ravey Remix)
    FC Kahuna – Hayling
    Autor De Lucie – Vide
    Moderat – Rusty Nails
    Trentemoller – Moan (Trentemoller Remix)
Trolle/Siebenhaar – Shortcuts (LuLu Rouge Remix)

  3. I forgot to include some of my personal faves:
Calvin Harris – I’m Not Alone (deadmau5 Remix)
The xx – Shelter (Death to the Throne Remix)
Mr. Oizo – Nazis (Justice Remix)
    Sia – Buttons (CSS Remix)
    Boys Noize – Jeffer
    SebastiAn – Greel
Beyonce – Why Don’t You Love Me (Jump Smokers Remix)

  4. Great playlist! Here’s some of my favorites:

Monster Hospital (MSTRKRFT Remix) – Metric
Obsessions (Ocelot Remix) – Marina & The Diamonds
Crimewave (Midnight Conspiracy Remix) – Crystal Castles
Starry Eyed (Russ Chimes Remix) – Ellie Goulding
Walking With A Ghost (KD Dubstep Remix) – Tegan & Sara
Imma Be (Danger Olympic Remix) – Black Eyed Peas
What Else Is There (Trentemoller Remix) – Röyksopp
    Ghosts N Stuff (Nero Remix) – deadmau5

  6. This is such an awesome playlist thank you so much! Also another dubstep artist I really suggest is Rusko- his stuff is amazing, plus I interviewed him and he was hilarious. I’m going to go download these songs now!

  7. I found this amazing dubstep remix of Fluttershy’s little cheer for Rainbow Dash (the sporty, shaggy-haired, rainbow-splashed pony who may or may not be gayer than tennis players at Pride) from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic–

AND I FUCKING LOST IT. But I’d highly recommend it if you can find it. Also I’m recommending My Little Pony because Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle are walking Pride flags.
