It’s #GayleyKiyokoWeek on Twitter and Instagram, Which Means Hayley Kiyoko Kissing Girls

Hayley Kiyoko is young, she’s biracial, she’s queer, she’s proud and she’s super talented. If you’ve listened to her music or seen her music videos or watched her perform live, you know that there’s almost nowhere else in the world you can find the level of positive gay feelings and energy that she exudes. With songs and videos like “Girls Like Girls” and “Sleepover,” she’s quickly become a favorite among queers of all ages, and is especially good to her young queer fans, many of whom come out at her concerts or find their first queer community there.

Kiyoko has a new song coming out this week and has declared it officially #GayleyKiyokoWeek (my new favorite holiday) on Twitter and Instagram. Oh, btw, that song is called “Feelings,” which is easily the gayest name for a song ever and I CANNOT WAIT to hear it! In order to celebrate #GayleyKiyokoWeek and get her fans pumped up for “Feelings,” she’s been delivering us premium gay content every day on both Twitter and her Instagram story. Earlier in the week we were treated to some behind the scenes looks into her “Girls Like Girls” and “Cliff’s Edge” videos both of which are very, very, very gay, and today things got gayer, which, I know, should be impossible.

In her terrific “Gravel to Tempo” music video, we see Kiyoko walking around a high school; she looks like an outsider, probably she’s openly queer and everyone in her high school knows it. But she comes out on top in the end by gayly dancing in the lunchroom in front of her bullies and winning the gay day. She asked her fans to vote for who she should’ve kissed in the video, and fans chose Blake, aka Headphones Girl. Well, Headphones Girl (whose real name is Chanel) knows what us fans want and she gave Hayley a kiss straight on the lips while “Careless Whisper” played in the background. It was very gay.
