I’d been telling my team that Heather Hogan was going to join us any minute now since she’d told me, in 2010, that she wanted to. We’d been emailing since she’d first reached out to me in 2009 to talk about my recaps, a few weeks before I’d transform my personal L Word blog into the Autostraddle that exists today — mostly just compliments, volleyed back and forth, some L Word gossip, but also a lot of yearning for the day she’d join Autostraddle.
