Angel released the image in a post saying, “I really don’t feel like waiting anymore…here’s the Dirty Gold album artwork. #sorryguysatmylabel”

2. A lyric video of “A Tribe Called Red,” one of the tracks on the album…

3. …and an alternate cut on Soundcloud. (The sound is richer and she gives an intro touching on racial identity in her music.)

4. The Dirty Gold track list, promising new songs galore.

1. “Sing About Me”
2. “Echelon (It’s My Way)”
3. “A Tribe Called Red”
4. “Deep Sea Diver”
5. “Synagogue”
6. “Angel + Airwaves”
7. “April’s Fools”
8. “White Lillies / White Lies”
9. “Battle Cry”
10. “Black Dahlia”
11. “Planes Fly”
12. “Dirty Gold”

5. A release date for her album: March 3, 2014. Finally.

On Twitter, Angel said, “You guys don’t know how desperate I am for you all to have this album. I’ve been sitting on these songs for six months now and am finally tired of waiting. Patience is a virtue….until it isn’t, I suppose. Thanks for preordering it. Xxxx.”

Are you listening to Angel on Soundcloud over and over like I am? Are you a puddle on the floor yet? How about now?

Goodness, March seems like such a long time away.

Autostraddle cannot exist without the generous support of our readers. We're running the fundraiser through March 29th! We're out of immediate danger...but we had to ask...what if we could survive for longer? Will you help?

    • Dayum. Scratch that. Typically, as soon as I posted the album got taken down. But for those 15 minutes when all the songs were there, it was AMAZING and I don’t want to wait for 3+ months to hear it again. :(
