So. This is a thing that happened today on the internet. I kinda like it, actually.

      • being a foreigner forced me to actually google “drapes”.
after finding out what it means I needed a moment to actually get whatcha talkin about….

being ‘lost in translation’ makes my commenting mostly innocently and G-Rated (and also grammatical suspect)…so noo I’m just talking about a dead bird and her head hair :D

    • I agree. Since I read Romi’s Autostraddle Interview I started liking her, now this video shows me that she has a sense of humor. Plus she has good taste in girlfriends (Kelsey)
And the song is catchy, I am still humming “its good to be gay in LA in LA”

  1. If that was any longer than three minutes, I wouldn’t have been able to make it through that.

I get it, you had sex on the tv. It was a while ago. Can we talk about something else?

relatedly, why did I watch that. (because i’m procrastinating is the answer)

  2. I want a dead parrot earring.

also I’ve never even watched TRLW, and I know Romi’s taken some heat, but I like her. it seems like she handles herself in the spotlight pretty well, she has cool style, plus she was an as calendar girl. all of them get bonus points.

  3. Okay, so I never watched the Real L-Word because:

    1) I don’t do reality shows, for the most part
    2) After season 4 of The L-Word I was fed up with Chaiken.

So, my only pop-culture exposure to Romi is this site… and this seemed pretty funny. But then I didn’t see her get banged on TV, so I imagine I might roll my eyes more if I had.

  4. Before I watch it, let me clarify:
This is a JOKE video, right?
Like a spoof, piss take, LOLOLOL vid,NOT a serious move for Romi into the world of rap music?

I need to know before I can procceed, as my cringe reflex is so strong that watching a genuine alternative lifestyle BRAPPWIKKAWIKKA could be dangerous.
