I live about two hours away from my girlfriend of six months. We met at a party when I was visiting friends in the city where she lives, the city where I’ll be moving at the end of the summer. Before her I was in a ten-year (and eventually really toxic) relationship with someone slightly older than me, but my new girlfriend is younger than me. I’m in my late thirties and she’s in her late twenties, and we have some generational differences around technology, like she’s more into texting and face-timing than I am.
