Laura’s Team Pick: Green Porno

I guess missed the boat or something when Green Porno came out but this ish is comedy genius–and educational! I saw it for the first time last week when my friend, bored with the pilot episode of “The L Word,” said “So basically they just have a lot of sex and Marina is the same person as Isabella Rosselini. Let’s watch Green Porno instead.”

If this tickles your fancy, I would recommend “Dolphin,” “Snail,” and “Whale.”

  1. If you like this you should read DR TATIANA’S SEX ADVICE TO ALL CREATION by Olivia Judson, it’s a book about the evolutionary biology of sex in the form of an advice column, all manner of creatures write in with their problems and Judson answers (through her Dr. Tatiana persona), there’s one from a queen bee wondering why her lovers always explode and leave their penises lodged in her after sex, I make my hs bio classes read it whenever I teach sexual selection or animal behavior, it’s like their favorite thing
