Laura’s Team Pick: Georgia Nicholson

This isn’t recent or new, but I know at least twenty-seven of you read Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging sometime in your girl(or boy)hood and I just want to take a second to revisit it. Those were special times, weren’t they? Giggling to yourself in your orthodontist’s waiting room and feeling scandalous for reading a book with a title about underwear and making out. On the dark side, I just watched the movie and thought it was a bit lackluster. On the bright side, there are two new books in the series that I haven’t read yet!

  1. yo man, my favourite part is in like, the 5th book when she does the congo with her fake eyelashes stuck together. also that time when she calls rosie and rosie answers with a joke about an elephant and then hangs up on her.

  2. Omg I love these books. The audiobooks are the best because then you get the accent with the words.
Emily I love that part! There are so many parts that I love. But on another note I always felt they were slightly homophobic, hilarious fo sho, but there were a lot of jokes about not wanting to be a or be near a lesbian.

  3. i used to love those books when i was younger…when i first saw advertisements for the movie i was actually kind of excited so naturally i had to watch it…unfortunately it didnt live up to my standards…
