  1. Somebody really needs to tell Disney that encoding subtle queer narratives into stories about blood relatives is.. less than helpful

    • The lyrics are not subtle, to be sure. Something tells me this song might take on a life of its own LOL.

      • If I had a dime for every time that I went to a queer birthday party and someone would slap an Elsa wig onto their head and deliver an impromptu “Let it Go” performance..well, I’d at least have a dollar.

        • There’s a really good AfterEllen article about “Let it go” being a Closeted girl’s coming out anthem. I’d link it but Lets face it no one wants to go there

  2. Dolly is having a real moment, isn’t she? I’m so glad, she’s been an international star for a long time but it seems like she just reached some kind of transcendence?

  3. I saw Charlie’s Angels last night with my band. There was a line about getting food poisoning but then getting hungry and eating more of the food that caused the poisoning and we all looked at our drummer because art imitates life sometimes

  4. Just here to tell everyone to go see Charlie’s Angels because it’s really fun and Kristen Stewart is hot and gay in it

  5. Heather Hogan, I just thought that I would tell you that “The Cat From Outer Space” is on Disney+.

  6. This was quite the trip.

    Angels eating hot wings
Swans beating down doors to demand bread
Our Sally’s blazer-blasting BFF’s stop cooking and start killing
A dead mum sings a love duet with her daughter – wait, nope, that one’s impossible

      • Smacks forehead !

Ok but why is that ok for me but not Elsa/Momma ?

        Phoque I’m so weird sometimes.

  7. Misread front page blurb as saying “Dolly Parton Goose Game.”

Now mildly devastated this isn’t a thing.

  8. I want to emotionally invest in excitement for the Mel and Sue sitcom but then I remember Heading Out and I just don’t know if I can handle being that disappointed again

    • I think we all are still traumatised from watching that dead cat being hauled through some truly painful scenes.

  9. Clearly the song is going to be Elsa findingnout her dead mom also has ice witch powers, kind of like that moment you find out about you great-uncle Herman who no one has ever mentioned before who was a “confirmed bachelor” and lived with his roommate for 20 years.

  10. I just watched Kristen Stewart’s Hot One’s video and just need to recommend that people watch the Actors on Actors interview with her and Shia LeBoeuf! I love these posts with just a ton of articles I missed throughout my weekly internet surfing, please keep them coming!
