Goodness, I am so terrible at filling out these things. Which is sad because I’m a writer. -sigh- Hmm well I’ve been living in Phoenix, AZ for 2 years now. Before that I was in Michigan, where I grew up, went to college for an Associates degree in Interior Design, and then promptly moved the fuck out of state because 1. Michigan is no place for any art career and 2. Michigan is a third world country.

My personal mantra? I will design a life I love. Translation: I am never moving back to Michigan. Ever. Also, I will fall in love with as many people/places/things as possible, but I will not take anyone’s shit.

I’m honestly not all that impressed with Phoenix either, though. It’s a beautiful city and I have no regrets about living here (I knew even when I moved that Phoenix may be a stepping stone), but I don’t love the heat, and I miss the seasons! I’m happy to have lived in the Southwest, though, and it’ll forever have been impactful in my life. I’m looking at relocating to Boston, MA as soon as I graduate with my BA in Interior Design, which is going to take me roughly 3 years to finish with working full time and whatnot. Which puts me in an awkward interlude where I want to continue to make friends and explore here in Phoenix, but also I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT BOSTON, GALS!! CUZ I’M EXCITED TO LIVE THERE, YA KNOW?!

But I digress..

I love to hang out with people. I am a lipstick lesbian/ high femme/ LETS JUST FUCKING GO SHOPPING/ GET DRESSED UP AND GO OUT ALREADY! I enjoy watching a movie, having dinner, making dinner, going out for a drink, staying in for a drink, dressing up my cats (just kidding folks…or am I?), hanging out with children (seriously, if we go out in public and I see a small child, best of luck to you in separating me from them), going to museums, exploring the town (ie: hanging out in Cave Creek, driving out to Sedona for the day to see the seasonal colors), reading, writing (I want to be published before I die. Hopefully sooner.), writers’ groups (I will help YOU to get published before you die. For the very small price of free!), and, of course, talking.
