Yana Sitnikova is a Russian trans* activist and transfeminist, a member of Trans* Coalition on post-soviet space. Her areas of interest include: transgenderism, feminism, gender identities and intersectionality. As a member of “Yabloko” political party, she took part in the elections to the State Duma in 2011, but later was expelled from the party for the propaganda of transgenderism and lesbianism. Yana is working on her PhD project in chemoinformatics in the Institute of Organoelement Compounds (Russia) and University of Strasbourg (France)
