Hello beautiful people.

Yep, that’s me with the mohawk, I thought it might get your attention, I’m Naya. I’ll confess it’s not a current pic, just chuck it up to nostalgia, I miss my awesome hair; But as luck would have it I no longer work at a coffee shop where I can get away with it. I’ve been visiting this site for a while, more frequently since the relaunch of AfterEllen, and I finally decided to create a profile. Sadly I’ve given up on AE, I lost most of my contacts after the relaunch and the forums over there are like a ghost town these days. I’m hoping the community here will fill the void AE has left, I’m open to meeting new people, happy to make new friends and if the stars smile kindly upon me, maybe I’ll meet that special girl on this site. ;)

What can I tell you about my self? Well, I grew up and live in Southern California with my chibi shiba inu. (you get bonus points if you can tell me what that means). I’m currently working towards becoming a court certified interpreter, hence the lack of awesome hair on my head. I’m fluent in spanish, learning italian, ASL and portuguese. I also seem to be picking up some Japanese from watching anime. Recreationally I enjoy a rush of adrenalin on a high flying trapeze, I also practice archery and taiko drums. I would love to take up flamenco and paso doble dance lessons, as well as dedicate more time to horse back riding and glassblowing however currently I don’t have the time or the funds to do them with out giving up archery, taiko or trapeze. :/ Maybe if I give up food and sleep? Then I’d have the money and time to do more fun things!
