About Me

Vegan and agnostic and adamant about both.
Smart with a talent to hide it behind my goldfish attention span (you know, three seconds?).
Not easily offended even if you try.
Occasionally insecure. Often submissive & masochistic, never a doormat.

What I Like

Favorite Books

It’s been ages since I read something which was a) dead tree format and b) entirely unrelated to uni. You may judge me now, I know I do.

Favorite Movies

Over the Hedge, Wasabi, Kops, Green Fried Tomatos, Scent of a Woman, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Series, Dead Poets’ Society, …

Favorite Documentaries

Favorite TV Shows

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Jeeves & Wooster, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Mit Herz und Handschellen, Criminal Minds, NCIS, QAF US (because I didn’t get around to watching UK yet), BBC Sherlock (yay for a well-done modern adaptation of a classic!) tons more.

Favorite Music

Dark evil scary stuff that most of the anglophone world has probably never heard of. ;)
Here goes: ASP, Blind Guardian, In Extremo, Solar Fake, Wise Guys, Wombats, Zeraphine as well as many others, but these are the ones I would make you listen to to get an idea of my taste in music.
(Okay, so not all of that is dark and evil and scary.)

Favorite Sandwich

Don't really have one, but chances are if it includes avocado, tomatoes and onions (and maybe even nice crispy tofu), I'm going to love it.

Favorite Quotes

“Ever try, ever fail, no matter – try again, fail again, fail better.”
“Que sera, sera”, though technically not a quote, gets me through dark hours.
