But there’s also a couple of English ones. What comes to mind right now: Autobiography of Red (Anne Carson – a novel in verse. My all time favourite book or maybe thing in the world), Lilith’s Brood (Octavia Butler), Beloved (Toni Morrison), White Fang (Jack London), Purple Hibiscus (Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie), In the United States of Africa (Abdourahman A. Waberi), Franny and Zoey (J.D.Salinger), everything by Edgar Allen Poe and H.P. Lovecraft and Alison Bechdel
