After our little trip to the big easy, we were ready to relax, get back on budget, and try some real Texas barbeque!
Luckily, we were able to drown out our A-Camp sorrows over some retail therapy at the Mall of America, and a few drinks on Bourbon Street.
“After the cab ride home we put on our PJ’s, ordered pizza and danced around in the kitchen to the Spice Girls like a 7th grade slumber party.”
The girls are cute, the beers are cold and Andrea Gibson is in town. Need we say more?
“Of course, we abandoned the trail and set off in flip-flops, so our adventure was a little less Indiana Jones, and a little more Troop Beverley Hills.”
We were greeted with open arms, that sexy rasp, and the cutest little dog these cat lovers ever fell for.
“We started out single, and without a queer community in our cities. Now we’re together and traveling the country, largely thanks to our extended Autostraddle family!”
Sure enough, New York City wasn’t short on lovely homoqueers, breakfast pastries, and our new favorite brunch food, bagels!
Of course our trip to Boston wasn’t complete until we found MORE STRADDLERS!
