You’ve already fallen in love with Mary Lambert’s voice, you just may not know it — she’s the female part on “Same Love,” the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis anthem for same sex marriage that we all fell in love with last year.

This week, rappers came out against homophobia, laws were passed that made us better off around the world, and a baby koala lived. I said “baby koala.”

As Arizona reminded us this week, The RadRight has enjoyed a long and successful history of standing in the way of equality through deploying what I call the Bathroom Meme.

Equality’s inevitable but so are death and taxes.

What can we reasonably expect from our relatives when it comes to voting?

My only feelings this week are as follows: a) GO NEW YORK. b) Aguaaaaa.

A lot has changed in Miami the last decade. Is it a new gay getaway hotspot? I took a visit, snapped a lot of photos, rode a vespa, visited a lot of restaurants and drank too much alcohol so I could find out.

It’s telling and moving that Obama chose to dedicate a fairly significant chunk of his speech to the LGBT community; it sends the message that we are who he thinks of when remembering how equal we are or are not.

“We have these television shows in which Brett Michaels has a bus of like these women and one he’s gonna end up marrying, that’s not a sacred institution.”
