A small, brown and white dog peeking over their laptop screen, with a caption that says "Hey did you see that comment?!"

Hi there, sweet peas! Guess what? There’s someone new in my life!

a collage of Queer Girl's new dog, who is a very blonde three month-old puppy with floppy ears and perfect white eyelashes

He’s only three months old and we haven’t yet settled on a name… got any ideas for us? 💙

This week, Vanessa ate breakfast with her grief.

Cam wrote about medical devices, sex, and the ways they intersect.

Important: Which Mid-Aughts LGBTQ+ Female Television Character Are You? I got Willow, which was the absolute perfect answer, this quiz is unimpeachable.

For the Dinner Party series, this was… just perfect: On Grandmothers and Malai Curry as Thick as My Missing.

Lawrence wrote about burlesque, gender, performance and art.

Have you watched First Date yet? It’s sweet and sexy and wholesome and you should watch it right now!

As the child of a parent who forced me to do many an after-school activity, I felt this week’s Foolish Child in my bones.

And on Wait, Is This A Date?, Drew, Christina and Dani Janae talked about the best sex they’ve ever had!

And then there were your comments.

On The L Word Episode 205 Recap: Lobsters Too Deserve Freedom:

The Sweet Meats Award to Reilly:

If you’re looking for me I’ll be snail mailing my glands, sweetbreads, and variety meats to Gigi. I might be back in time for next week’s episode, or I might be climbing a mountain in tights I’ve been wearing for an indeterminable amount of time.

And the Making It Rain Award to Sindeelou2:

ok already an a+ member but just donated another $50 to pay tribute to this outstanding bit of comedic critical literature. I beg at your knees.

On On Grandmothers and Malai Curry as Thick as My Missing:

The Gender Variety Award to shamblebot:

On FYP: Stop Chasing Straight Girls — It’s Weird:

The Gaily Forward Award to :):

100% agree on not chasing straight women. However, being chased BY a (previously) straight woman can turn out great. Love that last one!!!!

On The L Word Generation Q Season 2: Alice’s Book Launch Is Lit In New Pics From 208:

The Gotta Catch ‘Em All Award to Mina:

Not an episode goes by where I don’t see an outfit that feels inspired by Team Rocket from Pokémon and I do not get it but I choose to love it.

On No Filter: This Beanie and Sarah Content Is Worth It, Maybe?

The Vapors Award to Claudia Donovan:

I think y’all should take mercy on your readers and merch some AS branded smelling salts to get them through each No Filter because Laverne Cox singing opera nearly murdered me to death.

And on Pop Culture Fix: Raven-Symoné Said No to Raven Baxter Being a Lesbian, Mysterious to Me!

The Babysitters Club #405: Janine and the GSA Award to Kate L.:

Excuse me hi hello is Janine bringing home a girlfriend in s2 of Baby-Sitters Club? If yes, I love it.

  1. one of the main reasons I want to have pets again is all the names! on my list for future cats Sappho and (Franz) Kafka are the top 2. My aunt’s cat is called Socrates, which I also love. I also love pets with human names, mine was called Sara. maybe you could call him something like…Lucas?
