Today, I am sick. I am a disgusting, coughing, sneezing, swollen, vomiting, disease-ridden mess, but I am a hot mess who has final exams to take and a job to work, so here we are. I am learning a lot from this experience, although the most obvious lessons have been “you can get carded for cough syrup” and “make sure you bought the non-drowsy kind if you’re going to take it right before an exam.” Ain’t life a kick in the pants.
That being said, aside from running into every person I’ve ever met in my entire life including The Hottest Barista In The Known Universe, I think I’m doing an ok job at being a real person. I am choosing to attribute this success to listening to upbeat music and regular doses of good old fashioned dextromethorphan. Just pardon me as I drip snot on all of your history notes, I guess.
This started out as a themed playlist, but it turned into a this-is-what-I-feel-like-listening-to-right-now playlist. You can’t get mad at me for it because I’m sick and because I actually like how it turned out.
Fuck you, bronchitis. I have shit to do.

Want to suggest a playlist theme? Hit Crystal up on Formspring and someone on the team will make it for you.
I love your creative use of post-it notes.
And feel better soon… Good luck on the exams.
FEEL BETTER GRACE
You are a saving grace (rimshot) i’m sick too which is why I’m excusing myself for that terrible joke.
This is a feel better hug.
Also…Fuck you, bronchitis.
HA!
Thank you all for participating in my pity party. I am hugging you with my brain.
Intern Grace, if you’re interested there’s a super awesome xylitol nasal spray I got at Whole Foods. One of my voice teachers recommended it to me, and singers basically double as pharmacists, so. It’s called Xlear. It makes my nose feel happy.
Why would you put One Direction on this playlist. WHY. But I would add Float On by Modest Mouse, This Too Shall Pass by OK Go, and F**k You by Cee-Lo Green to this playlist.
Have you seen One Direction’s hair? That is the reason.
I am a teenager. I live in the country of their origin. I go to school with teenage girls. I have seen rather more of their hair than I would like.
everything will be alright when there is some tilly & the wall involved!
Better Already – Northern State << haha Im seeing your theme-ing. FEEL BETTER, HAVE A KIT KAT

Yay, pity parties. Yay, you’re not dead. Also, I really like this playlist. It’s summer, which means Best Coast and Surfer Blood are applicable in all situations.
I’ve been in the same place as you… for the last two weeks. I’ve also been listening to this nonstop since 8am this morning, Thanks Grace! Feel Better!
