Erin Foley Is Super Gay & Fantastic on Conan O’Brien

Our very own Erin Foley made her late night TV debut yesterday on Conan, following none other than Kathy Griffin(!). Prior to the taping she promised it would be “super gay and fantastic” and she didn’t let anyone down, drawing on material from new relationship for her act. “There aren’t a lot of late-night shows that have made that kind of an effort to be inclusive of the LGBT community, which makes a difference, if you ask me.”

I feel a special closeness to Erin personally since we were trapped on board the same cruise ship during a hurricane back in November 2009.

You might remember some of her fine earlier work in Hi, I’m Ilene Chaiken:

Also, you must see her audition for the new season of The Bachelorette:

  1. dude she is SO SWEET and nice. i worked as a PA on this Comedy Central gig a few years ago and we totally made the dyke connection. she bought me a beer, too!

so excited to see her on Conan. thanks for this.

  2. That was pretty funny except that bit on the vegan cookbook. I don’t see why it was necessary to imply that veganism is sad in and of itself (also making a distinction between meat and fish when fish is meat). Kind of insulting to vegans.
