Playlist: Dinah!

Guys, I am road tripping to Dinah Shore for the first time ever this year. At this point, I am a walking/talking ball of apprehension and curiosity with a surprisingly stylish alternative lifestyle haircut. This playlist is how I imagine /fear the weekend will unfold!

Ride Wit Me – Nelly
Bad Girls – M.I.A.
Pretty Girls – Wale
Hey Ladies – Beastie Boys
Cheap Sunglasses – ZZ Top
Party and Bullshit (Ratatat remix) – Notorious B.I.G.
Just Dance – Lady Gaga
Holidae In – Chingy
Blame It – Jamie Foxx
Drunk and Hot Girls – Kanye West
Pass Out – Tinie Tempah
White Nights – Oh Land
The Sun – The Naked and Famous
What Happened – Sublime
I’m Going Back Home – Nina Simone

Any song suggestions to help me survive my first Dinah? What songs do you associate with Dinah?

  1. This playlist makes me scared of Dinah Shore. Thank you AS for having A-Camp (although I can’t go….)

    • I am also frightened! I had to make this to process my emotions. You guys need to help me!

      • Is it sad that this comment is enough to make me want to bring this to fruition? I need to fix my life.

  2. This is the first Dinah I’ve missed in many, many years! I had decided not to go when all of a sudden, A-Camp was revealed!

    • I had already committed to Dinah riiight before A Camp was announced. I am going to both now. This is going to be my gayest year ever. I figure I should round it out with a few prides for good measure.

  3. The idea of Dinah Shore terrifies me so much that I want to listen to this playlist while writing a horror story. Like what if there was a zombie invasion at Dinah Shore. What then. Whitney Mixter would have to flay them with a Xena-like spinning dreadlock attack

  4. Forgot that my headphones were plugged into my phone and not my computer.

Long story short blasting Nelly doesn’t really go well with the smooth jazz cover of My Boo that’s being played in Panera.

    • Haha, amazing. Chortling loudly at Corner Bakery is also less than enthusiastically received.
