Girl Gallery: 25 Days of Dapper

481567_10151158042276260_363800806_nWhat happens after hundred of queers spend a week together on a mountaintop? Do they forget each other? Fall in love? Meet up every year? I don’t know about all those, but I do know that some of the kids who have attended Autostraddle’s bi-annual A-Camp event get together and organize a 25 days of dapper project wherein they bless the rest of us with daily pictures of their sexy selves via our Facebook feed all December long.

Now we’re bringing their pictures to Autostraddle so that everyone can enjoy the dapperness. Feel free to live through them vicariously if you got a dress instead of the wingtips you were hoping for this morning or drop by just to let them know how handsome they look.

  1. That’s it.

I just need to move to the Northern Hemisphere.

How can everyone who reads this site be so adorable? I think that should be statistically impossible but it’s apparently not.

  2. I realized while looking through these that a year ago, I hadn’t found Autostraddle yet, and I thought I had no interest whatsoever in fashion. Although I knew I was genderqueer by that point, I thought that since I am technically female, fashion = women’s fashion. I am so glad that I realized at some point that I can dress great by being dapper instead of feminine. I am now actually sort of into fashion, and it feels so bizarre to admit that.

It’s kind of like when I realized I like girls after always assuming I was straight, except this time I realized I like fashion after years of thinking of fashion as frivolous and boring.

  3. This gallery is awesome and this looks like so much fun. You all are definitely style inspirations to this men’s-department-shy commenter (who is now breaking out of third person wtf that was weird)…as well as being dapper as FUCK.

  4. Just got back from a straight-as-fuck family visit to Hawaii where I felt super out of place, gender-performance-wise. Coming home to this gallery almost brought me to tears. You all look so fly. Thanks for reminding me that we look damn good in our dapper clothes, and that I’m not alone in thinking so.
