Back at A-Camp 4.0, a gaggle of funny queer women decided to try their hand at interrupting a movie. It was quite the success, which made them think, “Hey! Maybe we should do this again.” So they’ve got the band back together to interrupt Bound on February 20th at 9pm at Los Angeles’ Downtown Independent Theater.
This particular gang consists of Hannah Hart, DeAnne Smith, Brittani Nichols and Carly Usdin for an event they’re calling Talking Pictures. This group of friends will watch movies alongside the audience and let you know exactly what they think about whatever is happening on screen. Expect a lot of feelings, a lot of jokes, and some brutal honesty. You can get your tickets now and RSVP for the event on Facebook. Tell everyone you know! We’re bringing queer comedians and movies to the masses.
May everyone who lives in do-able (and not inter-continental) vicinity go to this to make up for those of us that can’t but desperately wish we could!
So many lols to be had.
Oh my God. This actually makes me wish I lived in LA.
It’s like Mystery Science Theater 3000 with lesbians, and many lols. I cannot wait!
Trash-talking at Terrible Lesbian Films is in my top 3 favourite activities. I’m really saddened that I am a few thousand miles too far away to enjoy this event, but I will try and sync my dreams up so I can record the world’s first attempt of somnioblolesboquy.
full disclosure: this is 100% of the reason i moved to Los Angeles just now.
if anyone wants to record a bootleg video situation of like, 5 mins of this magical night, i would be super grateful.
is that legal?
This makes me very sad that I live on the east coat because this is awesome. Thinking about it, I can only imagine how great the comments are going to be. After all this film seems like the Showgirls of lesbian films.
Wait a minute…is Showgirls a lesbian film? Now I’m confusing myself.
