VIDEO: Hillary Clinton Celebrates Gay Pride With A Very Nice Statement

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of the “Texts From Hillary” tumblr has some words about LGBTQ Pride Month which her staff has recorded on videotape and uploaded to the internet for your enjoyment. Clinton focuses primarily on their work fighting intolerance globally and abroad but also references the importance of equal rights for everybody and “progress being made,” which is code for “little lesbians all across America deserve to dream of a day when they, just like their heterosexual brothers and sisters, can acquire dental insurance by marrying the woman they love.” See for yourself:

If you missed it last week, President Obama released his own LGBT Pride Month video:

Autostraddle cannot exist without the generous support of our readers. We're running the fundraiser through March 29th! We're out of immediate danger...but we had to ask...what if we could survive for longer? Will you help?
