  1. I super struggled with dressing myself last year. I didn’t know my style (still don’t really) and just the effort of putting on clothes felt hellish. And then one day a couple of friends told me they were jealous, i always seemed so put together. My brain was like ‘are you kidding me, I’m wearing my brothers/mums clothes or things i found in a charity shop’. But I like to think about it when I’m not feeling great about my clothes choice, because it’s totally possible that people think I’ve chosen this outfit deliberately, and that actually I probably look alright. Makes me smile a bit more on those days.

  2. So weirdly synchronidtic. I was thinking about this yesterday when trying to dress up for Pride ( which is like the pressure to dress up when going out x 1000). I’ve got no style either. I’ve got no budget to just throw money at the problem either. Am not at all happy with my clothes and self expression and it makes me even more reluctant to socialise. Anyway, I just remind myself that world peace and social justice are way more important. Loved this comic!! So related.

  3. Thank you for this. I have been depressed about my fashion confusion and it’s good to know I’m not alone. Also, when my girlfriend inevitably makes me move to LA it’s going to be so much worse/more hilarious.
