No Filter: Megan Rapinoe Dresses Up and Also Undresses To Make Her Cover Girl Dreams Come True

Welcome back to No Filter, a weekly space for mourning Stef’s absence on this website and the gaping emotional wound that remains in its place. For starters, I hope you read Stef’s captivating interview with Paige from Are You The One?, published yesterday on this website.

Elsewhere in the celebrity gossip universe, Cara Delevigne and Ashley Benson were really cute at the U.S. Open and also had very nice hair. And if you’re hungry for additional hot queer humans who do incredible things in the world, you absolutely must take a minute to gaze upon the brilliant babes who walked the runway at the Dapper Q Fashion Show. Truly very hot, the hottest.

Good news about the future, everybody!

I’d like to cast my vote for Bex to play Big Bird in the much overdue queer live-action remake of the dark children’s film “Follow That Bird,” which I think about every single day. Alternately, a queer remake of that episode of Breaking Bad about the fly.

Sister time at 3️⃣3️⃣

A post shared by Stephanie Beatriz (@stephaniebeatriz) on

Mere mortals could never look this good in mouse ears during a sweltering hot late-summer day at a popular theme park. But as exposed near-weekly in this column, Steph Beatriz has always been a step above.

Danny may have come to the party straight from work in his suit with a full messenger bag, but that does not mean that he did not COME TO PARTY. Partying with holes in your pants is easy but partying in that suit is PRICELESS.

  1. OMG, it’s a Riese “No Filter!” #blessed

Megan Rapinoe is taking over the world and I am HERE FOR IT. ALSO just this morning I remembered that video Keke Palmer did where she leaves the guy and then goes to Cassie’s house, so obvs I had to go to YouTube and watch it approx 50 times. It’s still [fire emoji x 3].

    • Chandra! Hi!!!

I LOVE MUNROE BERGDORF i cannot believe i was not already following her THANK U

and yes No Filter will continue — probably not by me forever, but for me until we have a new writer with the passion for vapid fluff to take it over <3

  2. So glad to see the column continuing under Riese’s careful stewardship!

Never underestimate the level of service being provided here to those of us whose cultural references stalled round about 2004.
