Brittani’s Video Party: David Sedaris is on the Edge of Normal with Winnie Cooper

Greetings. This is Brittani’s Video Party, where I bring some of the “best” videos from all over my internet together so we can clap, cry or deconstruct. Have you ever gotten to a video and it already has 33 million views and you wonder where the heck have you been? Well I’m here to help you so that you see it when it only has 32 million views. Aim low, world. Aim low.

Edge of Normal is the story of six teenage girls who all possess extraordinary, mysterious and dangerous powers. The first six episodes have already been released and YOU WILL  watch them all at once so make sure you have an hour before you embark on this journey. Did I mention it’s a gay journey? There’s a lot of lesbo teen angst happening in this series and I love it.

The one and only Alex Vega, Co-Founder and Design Director of this here website, chatted with Jacob Soboroff on TakePart Live, an actual show on the television machine. Autostraddle underoos even made an appearance alongside Alex Vega’s amazing hair.

Avril Lavigne released her video for Rock N’ Roll. In it she combines two of the most buzzworthy things you can do in a music video: kiss a girl and evoke nostalgia with a former child star. The princess herself and Danica McKellar (Winnie Cooper) lock lips while Avril shouts out The Wonder Years with a voiceover.

The first-ever movie adaptation from the essays of author David Sedaris released a trailer and it’s filled with people you love. C.O.G. stars Troian Bellisario, Casey Wilson, and Jonathan Groff. Bellisario is even channeling some Spencer-like outfits in the trailer.

If you have a video you think everyone should see, tweet it to @bishilarious for consideration. And of course feel free to post your favorite videos from the week below.

Autostraddle cannot exist without the generous support of our readers. We're running the fundraiser through March 29th! We're out of immediate danger...but we had to ask...what if we could survive for longer? Will you help?
