Last month Holly Miranda unleashed her second album, Holly Miranda, but I was too busy crying tears of joy to write any words. I’m only being partially stupidly hyperbolic here; it’s made me tear up more than once on the bus. She’s got a gift.
Now the first music video is here and in it, Holly Miranda explores a gender-bending carnival in the desert while singing a hooky as heck tune about fucking in the sun and wanting to be your girl, yes yours, you. I have a feeling it’ll delight you.
The clip is directed by Jason Fijal, produced by Brigitte Hagerman and it features Ambrosia Parsley, Katrina Kemp and performers from Cirque Berserk.
