In the same way that you should always pay yourself at least 10% of what you earn before you pay anyone else,I strongly believe in giving myself at least 10% of care before I meet other people’s expectations

This is like self-tithing and I’m into the concept!
It’s always worked for me. I also try to give myself a present, maybe flowers or something I want to read out of that 10% so that I can see something I enjoy for the effort of going to work. Always helps, especially on shitty weeks.
