i saw him live at a free gig last year and he was really good, put on an excellent show. also had long blond hair and wore a skin tight black and white number. props for style.

Massive Wolf fan, seen him live more times than I can count (genuinely – I just tried and failed :/). Not actually all that taken with this song or the last one (The City) from the upcoming album. But a lot of his stuff is truly amazing and yes, he really is wonderfully queer. Great to see him getting a mention on my favourite site.

also, I was in London for a week in March and Patrick Wolf was playing at the venue a single block away from my hostel two days after I left. THWARTED AGAIN.

I <3 Patrick Wolf. I saw him play Sydney after the release of 'The Magic Position', just him and a couple of instruments, it was wonderful.
This new song is great! That platinum bondage owl kick he went on for his last album kind of turned me off, as did the sound… nice to see him return to form.
I think that when I die one of the ‘best things’ scenes that flashes through my mind will be seeing him at the Royal Albert Hall in London, performing in glitter, performing one of my favourite songs The Bachelor when FLORENCE FUCKING WELCH steps out to sing eliza carthy’s part. I mean, really.
