Before you go! It takes funding to keep this publication by and for queer women and trans people of all genders running every day. We will never put our site behind a paywall because we know how important it is to keep Autostraddle free. But that means we rely on the support of our A+ Members. Still, 99.9% of our readers are not members. A+ membership starts at just $4/month. If you’re able to, will you join A+ and keep Autostraddle here and working for everyone?

Cameron is an illustrator hailing from Ohio. When she’s not drawing, she’s probably very, very quietly having loud thoughts about: queer things, her eventual shop, what to watch next on Netflix, food, names for her future pets, and tumblr.

Cameron has written 76 articles for us.

  1. and all my friends keep asking why i insist on being referred to as “ofcameron” now.

  2. The closest I could explain to my coworker was “not just gays, but like, me-type gays, you know, the odd duck gays, just all of them”

  3. FRIEND-SPOUSES! This is perfect, and yours is one of the succinctly best descriptions of camp.

I also want to say a brief thank you for co-hosting the most ridiculously fun game of Pictionary ever. I can only hope for a rematch next year!

  4. “Did you miss me?” “Not really.”

That got me, I’m crying. A camp was so amazing. I am so fucking grateful for each and every one of you. I got to be wholly myself for maybe the first time ever. This comic is incredible!

  5. Friend-spouses is my new favorite thing. Definitely need to start planning to make it to A-Camp next year.
