QUIZ: What Gay Superhero Energy Do You Need for 2022?

Well, the New Year is upon us! If you can believe it! And I cannot! It is kind of still March 2020 in my own head! But, no — time waits for no pandemic, and so we must march on into January 2022. But I thought maybe you, like me, could use a superheroic reminder of what kind of energy you should be carrying with you. So I made you a quiz!

I know you’ll say some of these characters are supervillains and not superheroes — but I disagree! (Sometimes. Mostly. In some incarnations.)

  1. Slightly disappointed not to get Alex Danvers but Thunder and “The knowledge that you are a damn badass — no matter what anyone around you tries to make you believe — is what you need to take with you into the New Year” I can definitely get behind!

  2. I’m positive the reason my result didn’t speak to me: women’s water polo wasn’t a choice in the Olympics section 🤓 🎖

(That and I picked the gaming system based on looks, since I haven’t used any of those)

    Thanks for the diversion, Heather!

  3. “A willingness to let go of your past and embrace your future — in your career, your hobbies, with your family, and in love — is what you need to take with you into the New Year”.

Strangely accurate…Although I haven’t watch the new Batwoman.

  4. I’ve been obsessed with figure skating since I came across one of Ashley Wagner’s routines in high school. She is gorgeous, outspoken, and there is so much strength and grace in her movements. I was so gay for her and didn’t even realize at the time, lol.
