I just noticed that and it felt odd to read that at loud despite the fact I’ve probably heard the local news call her by Evan(felt a bit odd to write that out).

This week in No Filter: Women’s Soccer edition…
The lesbian drama was intense at Wednesday’s Red Stars vs. Dash game. Sarah Gorden started for Chicago, playing directly opposite from her ex-girlfriend Rachel Daly. Even better, Chicago’s first goal was scored by Gorden beating Daly and crossing into the box, which was then kicked in as an own goal by Kristie Mewis of the Dash, who also happens to be Rachel Daly’s CURRENT girlfriend.
Y’all, it was a beautiful moment for the gays in women’s soccer.
Mandy Laddish celebrated Earth Day with a cute photo of her “favorite human on earth” – her girlfriend, Becca Moros.
Sam Kerr returned to the US after Australia qualified for the World Cup and into the welcoming arms of Nikki Stanton, who immediately began sharing with us cute photos of Kerr bonding with their new foster dog, Piper. When they lived in Jersey they worked with a foster organization, and it seems that the first thing Stanton did upon the Chicago move was go right out and get a new dog.
Mackenzie Arnold and Carson Pickett continue commenting with heart eyes on every single photo of the other on Instagram.
Long-time girlfriends (come on) Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris adopted a puppy together a few months ago and are obsessed. This dog is going to be a large breed, because it’s already tripled in size and won over all other members of the Orlando Pride. The Pride also celebrated 90s Night, with the best Polaroid featuring Krieger, Harris, Sydney Leroux as Aaliyah, and Cassius as Tupac.
Christine Nairn and Caity Friend expand their business Finding Euphoria into Orlando, with Toni Pressley serving as a photographer/model along with models Rachel Hill, Dani Weatherholt, and any other Pride teammates Nairn can recruit.
Taylor Smith’s girlfriend doesn’t have an Instagram but TSmith is keeping us apprised with her Instagram stories and posts. They are cuties.
I continue to mourn that Steph Catley and Lydia Williams are straight, and instead concoct elaborate fanfiction in which Catley requested the Seattle trade to be with Williams.
